Twelve years of accounting and finance across private equity, corporate accounting, and most recently as CFO of a multi-unit restaurant company. She has sat on the operator's side of the books she is now reconciling, which is a different vantage point than most tax preparers bring.
Why this practice exists
Most people do not need a large firm. They need someone credentialed who answers the phone, files on time, and explains the return in plain language before it goes anywhere. Away from the desk
